Pagal Das was born in a well-educated family with sound literary and spiritual background. He was in regular touch with some great spiritual masters since his early childhood. His upbringing and life course were always under vigilance and guidance of his guru, who belonged to the spiritual tradition of renowned and mystical Tapa Baba. He led a fulfilled worldly life, but this all was a camouflage to his efforts and practices meant for achieving the real goal of life. He is always keen to share his experiences with seekers.
Nischay Das was born in a Brahmin family in Brahmavart area of northern India at Kanpur district. He began his spiritual endeavor from very early childhood. He left his home at young age and never married. He belongs to Udasi sampraday. He is about 70 years of age. He never resides permanently at one place but there are some places that he visits regularly. One such place is Baikal Dham at Kanpur. Nischay Das is a master of various Yogic Kriyas. Even at this age, he performs most difficult asanas with amazing perfection and ease like a gymnast. His whole life pattern is an example of a yati. He has minimum belongings and least attachment.
Chitra was born in Kanpur, a city situated at the bank of holy river Ganga.She got her postgraduate degree in sociology and secured first position in university. She has written some very useful books in the field of sociology. However, her main thirst was always in spiritual- religious field. She is well acquainted with the spiritual literature of Indian tradition. She has translated a lot of such material into different languages from English, Sanskrit and Hindi. She is a disciple of Swami Ram, the greatest yogi of the modern era. She has a spiritual bend of mind and literary capacities inherited from her parents. Her father was a renowned writer and was involved in serious practice of advance stages of dhyan yoga. Her grand father was also a serious spiritual seeker and disciple of Swami Gambhiranand from the tradition of Sri Ramkrishna Paramhans.Her mother is a staunch devotee of Sri Ram. Presently she resides in Delhi.
R.K.Bajpai was born 52 years before. He was a brilliant student and got his postgraduate degree in botony. Then he joined banking sector and worked for about 30 years. In between his worldly journey a sense of dissatisfaction and some inner deficiency were always following him. His sincere quest ultimately led him to his guru, a great saint and spiritual master. Since then his course of life changed and every extra ounce of his time and energy were diverted to spiritual activities. Even after 12 years of rigorous practice, he considers himself as a beginner in the field.
Rekha Chaubey is reader of Sociology in a post graduate college. She has obtained her Doctorate in sociology from Department of Sociology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Her areas of interest are Sociology of Women, Social Stratification and Sociological Theory. She has published number of articles in various sociological journals.But ,as she herself sayes,worldly knowledge could not quench thirst of her soul. This thirst dragged her in the world of spirituality.She has firm belief that soluion of various social problems may be obtained through the spiritual way of life and suggests for development of 'sociology of spirituality'.
Dr Prashant Tripathi is a great scholar and author of several books. He has written several books on Sociology and has a specialization in Hindu Dharmshastra and Indology. Writer of multidimensional talent, he has got his story collection published.
