- Anurag, there is nothing like easy or difficult method of meditation. But there are different stages of practioners and they adopt meditation methods accordingly. What you need is a beginner's method of meditation. Though it not possible to give the elaborate instruction over meditation in this column, we will give you a brief introduction of a simple form of meditation .For this, sit in any of the meditative postures keeping your body straight and properly aligned and try to breath through your diaphragm. Then do rounds of nadi shodhan pranayam to calm your energy. Now see that every part of your body is tension free and relaxed. Focus on your breath, feel it at the tip of your nose, keep your breath smooth and free of any jerk. Now if you have any mantra, mentally repeat it synchronizing with your breath or repeat so hum mantra with your breath,inhaling with so and exhaling with hum. You can do this for as much time you want to. This is a basic form of meditation. But still it is advisable to learn and practice meditation under the personal guidance of a competent Guru.

Changes occured on that level make a more profound and lasting impact on our conscious.
